This website is operated by Mihai Giosan under the Arsvatra studio name. Arsvatra is based in Romania, and this notice applies to visitors worldwide.

Information processed when you visit
Arsvatra does not use analytics, advertising trackers or tracking cookies. The trailer footage that plays in the page background is hosted on this website.
Like most websites, our hosting provider may process technical information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as your IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, and the date and time of a request. We do not use this information to profile visitors or measure advertising. This processing is based on our legitimate interests in providing a reliable and secure website. Technical records are kept only for as long as reasonably necessary for operation, security and abuse prevention.
Contacting us
If you email us, we receive the information you choose to include, such as your name, email address and message. We use it to answer your enquiry and, where relevant, to handle support, press or business discussions. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in communicating about Arsvatra and Rottenlands, or taking steps you request before entering into an agreement.
Messages are normally deleted when they are no longer needed, and ordinarily within 12 months after the conversation ends. We may retain them longer where necessary for an ongoing relationship, to establish or defend legal claims, or to meet a legal obligation. Our email and hosting providers may process this information on our behalf.
Suggestions and bug reports
The Contact page links to two forms provided by Google Forms. The Suggestions form collects the type of suggestion and the feedback you choose to provide. It does not ask for your name or email address. The Bug Report form collects game and operating-system versions, a description of the problem, reproduction steps and related diagnostic details. It also offers an optional contact-email field so we can ask for more information.
We use these responses to evaluate suggestions and diagnose and improve the game. This processing is based on our legitimate interests in developing and supporting Rottenlands. Access is limited to people who need the responses for those purposes. Responses, including any copies kept in a linked private Google Sheet, are normally deleted within 12 months unless they remain needed to investigate an unresolved issue or act on ongoing feedback.
Google provides the forms and may process technical, account or service data under its own privacy terms, including outside the European Economic Area. Arsvatra receives the answers you submit. The forms do not require you to provide an email address, and you should not include sensitive information, personal data about another person, confidential material or content you do not have permission to share.
YouTube trailer
YouTube is not contacted when the decorative background video plays. If you
choose Watch Trailer, the site loads a privacy-enhanced YouTube player
from youtube-nocookie.com. Google may then receive technical information
such as your IP address, device information and interactions with the player.
Google processes that information under its own privacy terms and may process
it outside the European Economic Area. You can avoid this processing by not
opening the YouTube player.
External websites
The site links to Steam, itch.io, Discord, YouTube and other social platforms. We do not receive personal data merely because you follow those links. Once you leave this website, the destination service controls its own processing under its privacy policy.
Your rights
This website has no user accounts, user profiles or visitor database. If you only browse the site and do not contact us, we generally will not hold information that allows us to identify you. Our hosting provider may still process the limited technical records described above.
If you contact us or we otherwise hold personal data about you, applicable data-protection law may give you the right to ask us to:
- give you access to personal data we hold about you;
- correct or delete it;
- restrict or object to its processing;
- provide portable data where that right applies; or
- withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.
You may contact arsvatra@gmail.com to exercise these rights. We may need enough information to verify your identity. You may also complain to the Romanian National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP).
We do not use personal data from this website for automated decision-making or profiling. Providing information by email is voluntary, but we may be unable to answer without the details needed to understand your request.
Changes to this policy
We will update this notice and its “last updated” date if the website begins using new features such as analytics or mailing lists, or if our data practices otherwise change.
